2021年の年度代表馬エフフォーリアがゴール板の直前でまさかの競走中止‼️長年競馬を観ていますが、こんなゴール板の近くで競走中止は非常に珍しい光景でした。診断は心房細動ということでとりあえず骨折ではなかったので一安心💦
今後どのようにレースを選んで行かれるのか興味があります‼️

※心房細動 心臓に異常な電気信号が起こり、心房が規則正しいリズムを失う不整脈の一種。競走馬がレース中に発症すると、血液を全身にうまく送り出せなくなるため、急激に失速する。人間の心房細動と異なり、全く異常のない競走馬がレース中に突如として発症し、特に治療を行なわなくても治癒するものがほとんど。

2021 horse of the year Efforia canceled the race just before the finish board! ️ I’ve been watching horse racing for many years, but it was a very rare sight to see the race canceled near the finish board like this. The diagnosis was atrial fibrillation, so I’m relieved that it wasn’t a fracture for the time being💦

*Atrial fibrillation A type of arrhythmia in which abnormal electrical signals occur in the heart, causing the atria to lose their regular rhythm. When a racehorse develops the disease during a race, it can’t pump blood well throughout the body, causing it to stall rapidly. Unlike human atrial fibrillation, a racehorse with no abnormalities develops suddenly during a race, and most of them recover without any particular treatment.
