Sail To Change

Sail To Change is a community outreach programme founded in 2019 by Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club members, supported by the Sailing Committee and General Committee.

The programme’s vision is to create a positive impact on the lives of underprivileged youth through sailing and care for the environment. The values it aims to instil are:

• Perseverance – When faced with challenges;
• Respect – For others and Mother Nature;
• Integrity – In whatever we do; and
• Passion – A desire to succeed.

A bespoke Sail Training programme has been developed to teach our students the sport. Concurrently, our mentors provide guidance and opportunities for them to get involved in wider sailing and racing activities.

Respect for nature, confidence in their skills and knowledge in the marine industry can better equip them for the future.

「伴我啟航」計劃在香港遊艇的理事會及帆船運動委員會支持下，於2019年成立的社區外展計劃。
此計劃的願景是通過帆船運動及保育大自然，對青匱乏年的生活產生積極影響。

我們特別定立了一個帆船運動訓練計劃來教導學員。同時，本計劃的導師亦會為他們提供指導和機會，讓他們參與更廣泛的帆船活動和比賽。
尊重大自然，對航海事業的技能和知識充滿信心，可以令學員更好地為將來做好準備。
