After last year’s tragic stampede shut the stadium down, the Karnataka government has given conditional clearance for IPL and international matches to return.

RCB have also proposed a ₹4.5 crore AI-powered security overhaul — including 300+ surveillance cameras — to rebuild trust and prevent another disaster.

But final approval isn’t locked in yet. Backup venues are still being discussed.

So is this the comeback of one of India’s most iconic stadiums…
or its last chance?
